The Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield is at the forefront of community transformation—repurposing a portion of its space into affordable housing. edmSTUDIO is proud to collaborate on this project, which aims to address a critical need in the Pittsfield community.
A groundbreaking ceremony, led by Hearthway, brought together an array of supporters, including community and church members, legislators, local leaders, and both the former and current mayors of Pittsfield.
In a city where housing has been declared a top priority, this project is a beacon of progress. Approximately one-third of the City of Pittsfield’s ARPA funds are being directed toward housing initiatives, underscoring the urgency of this issue. Former Mayor Linda Tyer captured the collaborative spirit of the event, stating, “𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘦𝘥.”
