Williamstown Fire Department Celebrates Groundbreaking

Last week, members of the community gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Williamstown Fire Department Station!

The new 22,485-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will provide critical upgrades for the Town, including a five-lane apparatus bay with ample space for safe movement around vehicles, sufficient storage for all personal protective equipment, and a modern training and emergency operations center.

The station was designed to meet the strictest standards of the International Living Future Institute’s Zero Carbon Certification, with 100% of its energy generated renewably by photovoltaic equipment.
