AJ graduated summa cum laude from Roger Williams University this past May and will return in the fall to continue in the master’s program. During her time at Roger Williams, AJ studied abroad in Florence, Italy. As a child, AJ was always fascinated with the house on the TV show “Full House,” spending hours trying to figure out why the upstairs layout never matched the downstairs. After learning what a TV show set was, AJ took her first Architecture classes in high school and placed two years in a row in the CT HBRA Student Home Design Contest. This experience solidified AJ’s decision to pursue Architecture as a career.

Prior to joining edmSTUDIO, AJ had the opportunity to work on high-end residential projects in NYC and Newport, RI. Her favorite in-school project was an adaptive reuse project where she was tasked with sustainably repurposing oil tanks on the waterfront while harmoniously reestablishing a wetland environment around them. AJ enjoys projects that require problem-solving, as they push designers to be creative and result in unique final products.

In her free time, AJ enjoys playing music and has been a singer-songwriter since she could hold a guitar. AJ also enjoys being outside and works at a Nature Center, where she helps rehabilitate injured wildlife such as birds, mammals, and reptiles.
