As a continuation of the two-day community outreach sessions, Monica Perez del Rio, AIA, LFA and Danielle Mercier returned to Meriden to host a focus group, with the goal of gathering more detailed information regarding the community’s vision for the new Senior Center.
There were three main topics of discussion: the site (including location, access, parking, and safety); connection with nature and outdoor program; and activities. We also talked one-on-one with staff members at the Center.
The feedback gathered at both the two-day outreach sessions and focus group will be shared at the next Senior Center Building Committee meeting on May 16th.
We are excited to continue working with the Meriden community to bring the new Center to life!
